This is an exciting time to be part of SMASH - come and be part of something special

Open - Digital Communications and Marketing Officer

We are looking for an excellent Digital Communications and Marketing Officer to join our growing team at SMASH! This is a new role giving you the exciting opportunity of leading our marketing and comms strategy, shaping our future and developing partner, funding, commissioning and public awareness of our services whilst also, and most importantly, increasing young people’s engagement with our services. This is a real opportunity to use your Marketing and Communication skills within a positive, values-driven organisation with the support of an enthusiastic team of colleagues. Hours of work: 14 hours (0.4FTE) or 21 hours term time only if preferred. Salary: £10,286 – £11,134 (£25,716 – £27,836 FTE).

If you are the ideal person we are looking for, you are a person who makes things happen. You feel comfortable taking on responsibility and ensuring that our marketing and comms engine is running smoothly. You are self-motivated, enthusiastic and enjoy taking the initiative and demonstrating leadership within your area. You are extremely well organised and understand how to communicate effectively – verbally, in writing, graphically and digitally. You are creative, with an eye for detail and you are a dab hand with graphics, imagery and – or willing to quickly learn – managing websites (WordPress).

This is a new role which you will help us shape and implement.
