Youth and Community Worker
Hours of work: Full-Time (35 hours a week, including evenings and weekends)
Reporting to: Lead for Communities
Duration of post: 12months fixed term.
Salary: £29,101
We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised person who will take a key role in delivering mentoring and youth engagement work across our new Youth Centre – The Base.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have a background or interest in Bikes, Catering or Grow your own food projects.
You will be delivering one to one and small group support to young people referred to us from schools and our Youth Justice service. You will support the young people to be an active part in our new youth centre, co-producing offers of support that meet their needs and interests.
